How Our Network Works

Who You Talk To

Myth: you will speak with a Sacredneeded Heating & Air repair person. Fact: you speak with an independent HVAC provider from our network. They run their own business and do their own work. Sacredneeded Heating & Air is the link between you and them.

What Happens on the Call

The call is usually short and simple. The provider will likely ask a few things:

  • What is the system doing, or not doing?
  • How old is the unit, if you know?
  • Is it an AC, a furnace or both?
  • Where is your home, and how easy is it to reach the equipment?

Say what you see and hear. Mention warm air, odd smells, leaks or tripped breakers. Details help the provider plan the visit.

Where You Can Help First

Some small checks are safe for a homeowner. Look at the thermostat settings and batteries. Check that the air filter is not clogged. Make sure the breaker has not tripped, and clear leaves or debris from around the outdoor unit once the power is off. Anything inside the equipment, such as refrigerant, wiring or gas parts, needs a pro with the right tools.

What to Ask a Provider

  • Are you licensed for this work where I live?
  • Can you check my system before we talk about a big job?
  • Will I get a written quote before work starts?
  • What does the quote include, such as parts and labor?
  • Is repair or replacement the smarter choice for my unit?
  • Is there a warranty on parts or labor, and what does it cover?

Costs vary a lot by job. Always ask for the price in writing.

You Are in Control

Talking to a provider does not lock you in. You can ask questions, compare more than one provider and say no. There is no obligation.
